Small triangular .25″ x .25″ swatch of beige muslin fabric from the 1903 Wright Flyer that made the first heavier-than-air flight at Kitty Hawk on December 17, 1903. The segment is displayed in a 3.75″ x 2.75″ x 1″ Lucite display featuring an image of the first powered flight. In fine condition. Accompanied by a provenance packet authenticated by Aviators Alley, which indicates that this swatch was originally applied to a presentation assembled by Michael Davies, who made the presentations from a larger swatch obtained from the Wright family.
