World War I-dated TLS, one page, 6.25 x 8.25, White House letterhead, January 11, 1915. Letter to Marion J. Verdery, in full: "I am heartily sorry you did not have a chance to stop off here and see me, but we will hit it off another time, I hope. The little glimpse you give me of Augusta makes me homesick. I wish that I could see all the old friends there again and see them soon." Archivally double-matted and framed to an overall size of 11 x 13. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
