Document by which Benjamin Case appoints Jonathan Trumbull as his "true and lawful Attorney, for me and in my name to receive the Interest on all the Stock standing in my name in the Books of the Commissioner of Loans for the State of Connecticut." Williams fills out and signs the concluding portion of the document, certifying it as a witness for the State of Connecticut. Mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 14.5 x 19.75. In very good to fine condition, with chipping to the edges, and multiple horizontal folds.
