TLS in Hebrew, one page, 6.25 x 8.5, Israel Ministry of Labor letterhead, August 30, 1954. Letter to Yaakov Chazan, a member of Knesset, in part (translated): "I was very disturbed with your view as published in a recent issue of 'Al-HaMishmar'…So I...ask you, what is going to happen if this Zionist is not willing to make Aliyah to Israel? Should we plunder the title Zionist from the late Judge Brandeis—who never made Aliyah eventually? On the other hand, there were many American-Jews that made Aliyah & came to Israel but they never referred to themselves as Zionists. I wonder from where on Earth you make such a strange generalization." At the bottom is a handwritten note by Prime Minister Moshe Sharett, "I cannot understand why she is causing troubles to Chazan." In fine condition, with some very faint dampstaining.
