Letter to Tommy Bell, in part: "I will work hard to insure that the trust you have placed in me will not disappoint you. Texas is a great state yet it has its problems, which we are working hard to address…Under separate cover I am sending you a signed block of stone which was removed from the State Capitol building during the renovation project." The 4″ x 3.25″ x .75″ block of stone is included, signed in black felt tip by Bush, with an engraved plaque reading: "Stone removed from the Texas State Capitol building during 1990s renovation." In overall fine condition.
