(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Sensational original concept storyboard painting of Mickey Mouse from the 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' segment of Fantasia, which shows the young wizard-to-be during his magical dream sequence: standing atop a pinnacle with huge waves crashing all about, wearing the mystical hat of the Sorcerer Yen Sid, and commanding the stars and planets to dance across the heavens. Accomplished in gouache on black 9 x 7 artist's board. In fine condition, with tack holes to corners. A brilliant depiction of Mickey at his most powerful, which is augmented all the more for its wonderfully bright wave designs.
