Description

American cardiologist (1898-1986) who founded the field of pediatric cardiology and is notably credited with developing the concept for a procedure that would extend the lives of children born with Tetralogy of Fallot (the most common cause of blue baby syndrome). Uncommon ALS, one page, 6 x 7, September 23, 1964, personal stationery. Brief letter to Mrs. Halter, an autograph collector, in full: “Thanks for your note. I wish you success in collecting the autographs.” In very good to fine condition, with rusty paperclip impressions to the edges.
