Description

French writer, politician, diplomat and historian (1768-1848) who founded Romanticism in French literature. LS in French, signed “Chateaubriand,” one page, 8 x 11.75, April 13, 1824. Untranslated letter to "Monsieur le Baron," forwarding documents related to the German locality Ibersheim. In very good to fine condition, with scattered soiling, and creasing to the edges.
