Amazing relic from the late 1950s, a high grade, all original Stori-View baseball viewfinder with the four player 3-D color picture slide sets, all as issued in the original box. Stori-Views captured the imagination of children by teaching various topics (Countries, Cities, Animals, Bible studies etc), in 3D color, with the most desirable topic—How to Play Baseball. This example item is complete with the original paper advertising seal still attached to the box top. Measuring 7.25 x 5.25 x 2 inches, the box advertises "HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL featuring PHIL RIZZUTO SAL MAGLIE ENOS SLAUGHTER YOGI BERRA." Within the box, each player has his own set of slides inside its own small box, plus the viewfinder and original instruction booklet. All these items have their own storage places within the larger box. While this entire Stori-view is unused and in top condition, with an extremely nice outer box with full intact corners, several areas of the inside cardboard storage chambers have some creasing and light tears, several held together with tape. In addition, there is a one-inch tear at the top of the paper advertising seal and several smaller wrinkles/light tears along the sides. The bottom of the outer box, has small areas of surface 'shelf' abrasions and moderate toning. However, these imperfections do not detract from the complete unused virtually mint condition of the view finder and other materials. Every child of the 1950s had one of these Stori-View 3D viewfinders, with this offered example unused and in very nice condition.
