Inside the lid are statistics for the Pan Am "Jet Clipper - Tradewind" aircraft that made the 18,520-mile journey through Europe and the Middle East, with stops in Italy, Vatican City, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Iran, Greece, Tunisia, France, Spain, and Morocco. Also includes a bold ink signature, "Dwight D. Eisenhower," on an off-white 3.75 x 2.5 slip clipped from the close of a letter. In overall fine condition.
