William Winter One Dollar being the Amount contributed by him to the Fund for erecting a Monument in honour of General George Washington." In very good to fine condition, with scattered foxing, and archival tape on the back of the central horizontal fold. This fundraising effort resulted in the statue of George Washington executed by Sir Francis Leggatt Chantrey, which still stands in the Massachusetts State House.
