Queen Consort to Edward VII of England (1844-1925) and mother of George V. ALS signed “Alexandra,” one page both sides, 4.75 x 6.5, personal monogrammed mourning stationery, July 27, 1911. Written from Sandringham, a letter to "My dear Lady Frederick," in which she forwards a donation of £100, "which I hope will be acceptable." In fine condition, with three horizontal folds, and a small bit of mounting residue at the top of the signed page. Her husband, King Edward VII, had passed on May 6, 1910.
