French composer of over thirty operas, best known for La Juive (1799-1862). Lengthy AMQS on an off-white 11.75 x 8.75 musically lined sheet, signed at the conclusion, "F. Halevy, 8 Mai 1854." Halevy pens twenty-four bars of music and lyrics from "Romance de Guido et Ginevra," writing the title at the top. In fine condition.
