Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Rodgers holding a pencil and a musical score, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "For Jim Schendel, Sincerely, Richard Rodgers.” In fine condition, with a small stain near the right edge and mild brushing to ink in the inscription. Accompanied by the original transmittal letter from his secretary, dated February 23, 1961.
