Oscar Hammerstein.” Taped onto the opposite page is a TLS signed by Edna Ferber and addressed to the owner of the book, dated November 23, 1938, in full: “Lovely lavish red roses, dear Sam. It was sweet of you to send them. I was sorry you couldn’t come in for dinner last week. It was sort of fun. Good talk, too.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
