Description

Darius Milhaud

Distinguished and prolific French composer (1892–1974) best known for his pioneering incorporation of jazz elements and polytonality in such repertoire staples as ‘Le boeuf sur le toit’ and ‘La création du monde.’ Matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Milhaud seated with his conducting baton, signed and inscribed in blue ink, “To KMLA Broadcasting Corporation, with my best wishes, Milhaud, 1958.” Reverse bears a photography credit stamp. Some scattered creasing, and trivial foxing to top edge, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
