(Walt Disney Studios, 1933) Pair of original production drawings featuring Mickey Mouse and Peg Leg Pete from The Mail Pilot, showing Mickey in his plane after getting his wings shot off, showing him dragging Pete’s plane through the air on a rope. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on two sheets of animation paper. Images measure 11 x 6.5 and 9.5 x 5.5, with mat openings of 11 x 8.5. This piece is also framed to an overall size of 33.75 x 18. In fine condition. A nice pairing of production sketches.
