Attractively double-matted and framed with an unsigned photo of Ruth with the Yankees to an overall size of 21.25 x 15.75. In very good condition, with light scattered dampstaining and an unobtrusive tear extending from the top edge to the top of the ‘R.’ Less than a month later, Ruth would speak at ‘Lou Gehrig Day,’ during which Gehrig announced his early retirement.
