Letter to an admirer. In part: “I am sorry to say that I have none of my photographs at hand, and as I am expecting to march any day, will have no opportunity of sending to New Orleans for some. I am mortified that I am not able to comply with your request, but do all I can by giving the autographs below.” Mild overall creases, light scattered foxing, and an irregularly trimmed lower edge, otherwise fine condition.
