Four-line poem reads, “I take some favorite volume from its shelf, / And search for [“search for” has been crossed out by Longfellow and replaced with “find my”] favorite songs; but as I read / I miss the certain something that I need, / And cannot find; that something is thyself.” In fine condition, with two vertical folds.
