In a rare handwritten letter, Carter references a “bomb scare” on the campaign trail

Uncommon ALS signed “Jimmy,” one page, 5.5 x 7.5, personal letterhead, January 28, 1976. Letter to the band The Outlaws. In full: “Your music was great—was more exciting than the bomb scare! I really appreciate your fine help with my campaign.” In very good condition, with scattered toning and foxing and slight mounting remnants on reverse. Carter is notably scarce in handwritten correspondence. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
