Marie Louise authorizes Dumont Devaux to remain in the service of the King of Westphalia.Signed at the conclusion in black ink by the Empress of France, who signs in the absence of the Emperor, who was engaged in the battle of Leipzig. King Jerome had fled Cassel, and the Kingdom of Westphalia came to an end as the result of the French defeat at Leipzig.
