Description

Nobel Prize–winning, Italian-born engineer (1874–1937) whose development of “wireless telegraphy,” better known to the world at large as radio, would come to exert a profound and immeasurable influence not only on communications, but on modern civilization itself. Vintage matte-finish 6 x 8 photo of Marconi and his daughter Elettra affixed to its original 10 x 12 photographer’s mount, signed in fountain pen, “Guglielmo Marconi 1930.” A bisecting horizontal crease, silvering to edges of image, and several creases and toning to mount, otherwise very good condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
