Inventor (1906-1971) best known for inventing the first fully electronic television system. Signed book: The Psychology of Invention in the Mathematical World. Later printing. New Jersey: Princeton University Press, 1954. Hardcover, 5.5 x 8.5, 145 pages. Signed twice inside, “P. T. Farnsworth,” once on the first free end page, and again (upside down) on the last free end page, this one dated July 1955. Accompanied by an FDC honoring Farnsworth, signed by his wife Elma. Both items were originally obtained from Farnsworth’s son. Some mild toning to inside pages, including signed pages, Farnsworth’s bookplate affixed inside cover, light cover wear, and mild sunning to spine, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
