Pound writes: “I shd. be interested to know why this sum has been forwarded instead of £10/0/0, originally agreed upon. Nothing was said to me about British taxes deductible at the source.” Ink notation affecting first line of text of letter, intersecting folds, and a trimmed top edge, otherwise fine condition.
