Hand-addressed free-franked nvelope, 5 x 3, addressed by Wellington in his always difficult to decipher hand and dated August 25, 1835. Franked in the lower left corner “free, Wellington.” Accompanied by a handsome color 8 x 10 portrait of Wellington, suitable for matting.
