Signer of the U.S. Constitution from Pennsylvania (1744–1800) and first governor of that state. DS, signed “Tho Mifflin,” one page, 13.25 x 8.25, January 20, 1794. A document ordering the survey of a parcel of land in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, signed in the left border by Mifflin, and signed again near the bottom. In very good condition, with old tape repairs to complete vertical fold separations, scattered toning, edge chipping, previous storage folds, and a few damp stains. Both signatures are largely unaffected by any of the flaws. R&R COA.
