ANS in pencil, one page on the reverse of a 5 x 8 flyer announcing a luncheon at the Economic Reform Club, no date [circa 1938]. Wells writes to an unnamed recipient. In full: “The Diabetic Association (Baker St.) has a monopoly on my autographs. I send them only to subscribers of 2/6 or more to the great cause of keeping sugar in its place.” In very good condition, with a few creases, light scattered staining and soiling to blank portions, and a touch of wrinkling and handling wear.
