Partially printed DS, boldly signed “Adams,” one page, 7.5 x 6, December 20, 1763. A legal summons issued against Isaac Tirrell of Braintree in case involving non-payment of a debt. Adams has signed on the reverse and added the notation “Writ Vinton vs. Tirrell.” Two vertical folds (associated toning and a few tiny edge separations), mild scattered soiling with a few light stains, and faint show-through of printed text, no faults affecting the signature, otherwise fine condition.
