Louis XIII was King of France from 1601 until his death in 1643; Louis XV was King of France from 1715 until his death in 1774. Two items: Untranslated manuscript DS in French, signed “Louis [XIII],” one page, 8.25 x 9, October 1637; and an untranslated manuscript DS in French, evidently related to a military personnel matter, signed “Louis [XV],” one page on vellum, 18.25 x 9, no date. Both items are matted and framed together with an unsigned engraving to an overall size of 42 x 19. In very good condition, with scattered light soiling, toning, and wrinkling, and fold through Louis XIII’s signature. LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA. Oversized.
