Lot of two TLS, both on 7.25 x 10.5 personal stationery, each beautifully signed by Herbert Hoover. The first TLS, dated June 8, 1945 is a letter to The Tribune in Oakland, California, thanking the editor for an apparently complimentary editorial; the second TLS, dated October 20, 1960, reads, in part: “Thank you for your gracious remarks. As you mention the Boys Clubs Headquarters dedication speech, I enclose a copy for you.” In fine condition. R&R COA.
