Hunter, trapper and interpreter for the Pawnee Indians, Buffalo Bill’s partner in the Wild West Show. TLS signed “G. W. Lillie,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Pawnee Bill’s Oldtown letterhead, May 1, 1932. Letter to actor Ken Maynard concerning his participation in a World’s Fair wild west show. In part, “I am just dropping you a note to say that this World’s Fair deal looks very favorable…As soon as things get in shape I will write you fully and keep you posted. I do believe that when you look into this deal…you will be more interested than you are now.” In fine condition, with a touch of light toning and expected folds. R&R COA.
