TLS signed “G. W. Lillie,” one page, 8.5 x 10, Pawnee Bill’s Oldtown letterhead, June 14, 1932. Letter to his friend Ken Maynard asking his participation in a charity rodeo. In part, “They finally decided upon pulling an Indian Pow Wow and Rodeo…During our conversation, your name came up and they are intensely anxious to have you appear at these four performances…I believe that it would be worthwhile to do this.” In fine condition, with light show through from vignette on reverse, expected folds and a light brush to signature which is a shade light.
