This tonic wine has been described as the ancestor of Coca-Cola. Scarce ALS in French, signed “A. Mariani,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5 x 6.75, personal monogrammed letterhead (with Imperial Century watermarks), October 22, 1905. Untranslated handwritten letter to a close friend. In fine condition.
