Original set of four 22 x 30 promotional posters for the launch of the Windows 95 operating system, which was developed by Microsoft and released to manufacturing on July 14, 1995, and generally to retail on August 24, 1995. Produced by the Wieden & Kennedy advertising agency, each poster features the slogan “Where do you want to go today?” and includes the following imagery: a man in a suit peering at a miniature Ferris wheel through a small hole in a wall attached to a tripod display, with text: “Why are you standing outside the amusement park? Computers are an open opportunity for everybody”; a man’s hand holding up a large card with a cut-out question mark that is being held in front of a roller coaster; an anthropomorphic robot made up of a side table, keyboard, and various mechanical parts, and the head section topped with a monitor showing a man’s eyes and nose; and a man with his arms raised and leaping jubilantly over shoreline waves. Rolled and in overall fine condition, with some edgewear.
