Standard AGVA artists engagement contract by which the Lester Isaacs Big Five Social Club hires Billie Holiday, with an accompanying pianist, to perform at St. Nicholas Arena in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on October 17 and 18, 1958, at the rate of $500 per night. Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Billie Holiday. Interestingly, an eight-song set list is penned on the reverse in another hand, listing the titles, keys, and tempos for Holiday classics like 'Lover Man,' 'Them There Eyes,' and 'God Bless the Child.' In fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned portrait of the celebrated jazz singer.
