Flown tire segment used on the orbiters Atlantis for STS-27 and Columbia for STS-28. Encased in a limited edition cylindrical 2.75˝ x 3.25˝ piece of Lucile cut at an angle for display purposes, numbered 22/200, with a mission insignia and a certificate of authenticity at the bottom stating that the artifact originates from the personal collection of STS-27 Commander Robert 'Hoot' Gibson. In fine condition. Originally distributed through the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation and accompanied by a laminated certificate of authenticity signed by Gibson.
