Description

Scarce art catalog of Lucie Valore's paintings, published by Editions Les Gemeaux of Paris in 1952, 28 pages, 5.5 x 7.5, signed and inscribed on the half-title page in blue ballpoint by Lucie Valore, her husband Maurice Utrillo, and author Jack Palmer White. The catalog includes a portrait by Valore, which depicts Utrillo while painting his iconic views in Paris. In very good to fine condition, with sunning to the spine, and scattered light foxing to the cover, signed page, and several beginning pages.

Maurice Utrillo (1883–1955) was a French painter of the School of Paris who specialized in cityscapes; his wife, Lucie Valore (1878–1965), was also a painter and engraver. A wonderful association item, bringing together the notable artistic couple.
