Handwritten from his home in Gadebridge, in full: “Sir, Astley Cooper begs to acknowledge Mr. Hogarth’s letter, respecting the Portrait of the late Aston Key, and as he has another engraving which he should like to have framed at the same time, Sir Astley will call with it the first time he comes to London, & settle about them both.” In fine condition. Accompanied by an engraved portrait bearing a preprinted facsimile signature.
