Description

DS in Italian, signed “Mussolini,” one page, 9.5 x 14.5, July 28, 1933. Official military disciplinary document, in part (translated): "Your Majesty, the reserve artillery lieutenant, Neri Mario, was removed from his position as a magistrate in 1931 due to attitudes he adopted and demonstrated, especially during the last political elections, as he participated in plots against the National Government. Following a formal investigation, the conduct of the officer was reviewed by a Disciplinary Council, which met in Turin on May 27, 1933 (Year XI), and deemed him unworthy of retaining his rank. I have approved this verdict and, therefore, have the honor to submit to Your Majesty’s August sanction the attached draft decree providing for the removal of Neri's rank under Article 71, letter (e), of the law on the status of officers." Boldly signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Benito Mussolini. In fine condition, with small binding holes along the left edge.
