Official military document, in part (translated): "Considering the law of March 11, 1926, no. 397, regarding the status of officers of the Royal Army, the Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force; Having heard the report and on the proposal of the Head of Government, Prime Minister, Secretary of State for War. We have decreed and hereby decree: The voluntary resignation from rank of the reserve second lieutenant in the engineering corps, Granotti Pietro di Giovanni, is accepted pursuant to Article 3 of the law of March 11, 1926, No. 397." Boldly signed at the conclusion in ink by Benito Mussolini and Vittorio Emanuele III. In fine condition, with small binding holes along the left edge.
