Official ‘bronze medal’ winner's diploma issued to Henri Blin at the 1904 World's Fair or Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, which played host to that year's Olympic Games. The diploma measures 22.25 x 18.25 and features a large image of three allegorical figures above text: “United States of America, Universal Exposition, Saint Louis, MDCCCCIV, Commemorating the Acquisition of the Louisiana Territory, The International Jury of Awards Has Conferred a Bronze Medal Upon Henri Blin as Collaborator with Lemieu et Brunet.” In very good to fine condition, with a vertical fold, creases, and soiling and short tears to edges, the latter of which could be matted out if so desired. Although the Olympics were a part of the 1904 Exposition, no diplomas were issued for the Games.
