Description

First baseball commissioner (1866–1944), who was elected to office on November 12, 1920, and helped restore public confidence in baseball following the Black Sox scandal of 1919. He also served as a United States federal judge from 1905 to 1922. Fountain pen signature, "Kenesaw M. Landis, November 26, 1930,” on an off-white 5 x 3.25 card. In very fine condition.
