Extremely rare program for the Cowdray Ruins Concert charity show at Cowdray Ruins in Midhurst, England, on September 18, 1993, which was organized to raise funds for the King Edward VII Hospital, 24 pages, 8.25 x 5.75, signed inside in black felt tip by Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford, who played as part of The Ruins Band alongside members of Queen, Pink Floyd, and Eric Clapton. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, and by two laminated backstage ‘Artist’ and ‘Access All Areas’ VIP passes.
A rare and notable program given that Genesis played their last gig with Phil Collins at the 1993 Cowdray Ruins concert before he left the band. Collins recalled a sense of disillusionment during the supergroup performance: ‘In the middle of my writing and making BOTH SIDES, Genesis did a concert with Queen…But I didn’t enjoy it…As I was singing these songs, it didn’t feel natural. Obviously, it was bad timing, going just like that from doing my most personal thing to a Genesis thing and back. But it definitely felt like ‘What am I doing here?’, like shoes that don’t fit anymore.’
