Addressed from Paris, a handwritten letter to an unidentified gentleman, in full (translated): “Kindly excuse my troubling you but you have already extended to me such courteous treatment that I do not doubt but that you will be kind enough to render me this small service, mainly: – A letter addressed to me was to have arrived at the Opera of Vienna – Was it received? Was it refused? Since circumstances did not permit me to come to Vienna, this letter did not reach my hands. I beg you, therefore, sir, to be kind enough to advise the appropriate agent to have this letter forwarded under my name, 20 rue Daunou, Paris.” In fine condition.
