Three original vintage portrait sketches of classic actresses Tallulah Bankhead, Claudette Colbert, and Josephine Hull, each signed in ink by the pictured starlet and inscribed to the artist, J. Fred Johnson. The oversized sketches are accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on off-white sheets of drawing paper, approximately 13.5 x 16.5. Each is also signed in pencil by the artist, and all are matted to an overall size of 16 x 20. In overall very good to fine condition, with light toning from prior display.
