Original hand-drawn Garfield comic strip by Jim Davis, 15 x 5, signed vertically within the first panel, “Jim Davis, 2-28.” Accomplished in ink and artist pencil, the three-panel comic strip features Garfield looking at a mouse seated on Jon Arbuckle’s head. The mouse exclaims, “When I retire, I’d like to build a cabin up here.” Jon, perturbed, turns to Garfield who states: “Don’t look at me. I suggested the beach.” The second panel bears a 2008 Paws copyright and the upper border contains the comic publication date of February 27, 2008. In fine condition.
