Original glossy 8 x 10 Dallas Police Department photo of the chaotic aftermath following the shooting of suspected JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby in the basement of Dallas Police Headquarters on November 24, 1963. The reverse bears an upper typed caption, “Exibit [sic] 55-A photo of Oswald shooting taken by Frank Johnson U. P. I.,” and is stamped “This photograph made and developed by Bureau of Identification, Police Department, Dallas Texas.” In very good to fine condition, with a diagonal scratch to the left side.
