Original sketch by Paul McCartney as a student at the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys in the mid-1950s. Accomplished in black ink on the reverse of an off-white 8 x 6.5 trimmed ‘Passenger Transport’ sheet, the drawing depicts a German soldier in profile, with McCartney adding the word “ACHTUNG” near the soldier's mouth. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo.
