Original premiere 1963 introductory press release for Herman's Hermits, one page, 8.25 x 13, which announces “Herman and the Hermits” as the “North’s newest – and youngest – beat group.” The release reads, in part: “Making plenty of noise – of the right sort – the babes of beat have arrived. Herman and the Hermits have hit the northern beat scene before most of the group are old enough to shave. Within three months of their first public appearance they are playing all the north's top dates and the Hermit's sound is strongly tipped for top twenty honours. Four 16 year olds and one veteran of 19 that's the line up. Herman named after a T.V. character with a similar name alias Peter Noone and the youngest of the five, has already got such a following that the group are playing two engagements a night in the Manchester area.” The conclusion lists the names of manager Harvey Lisberg and publicist Richard Jaffa as contacts. In very good to fine condition, with short edge tears and general handling wear. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
